17th UKPF Early Careers Meeting
The next UKPF meeting will take place on the 15th January at Imperial College, London
The purpose of the meeting is to network and showcase the research going on in universities up and down the country. This meeting gives early career researchers a chance to present talks or posters to a scientific audience in an open and friendly conference environment to help prepare for international conferences and other occasions.
We have exciting keynote talks from Sanjeev Gupta, who will be talking about his research related to the Curiosity Rover, and Marina Galand, who will be talking about the JUICE mission. We are also planning two workshops, where you will be able to choose between an interactive CV workshop and a meteorite hunting workshop organised by Matt Genge. Registration and Call for Abstracts To register and submit abstracts to the conference, please use this form and follow the instructions. The form contains an abstract template and space to indicate special requirements: Travel Grants Thanks to generous funding from the UK Space Agency’s Exploration Team, we are able to provide seven £100 travel grants to early career researchers who are planning to give a talk at the meeting related to exploration planetary science (Moon and Mars). Given you meet the requirements, grants will be prioritised primarily based on distance to travel. |
